The Forum for African Women Educationalists of Zambia (FAWEZA) is a
non-governmental Zambian organization that strives to provide equal
education for girls and women, because females are an integral part of
the intellectual resource base required for the development and
prosperity of Zambia, and education is both a human right and a
developmental necessity. Come donate money to a worthy cause, and see an
excellent show in return!
The event begins with an art sale (featuring
local artists) and silent auction from 1 - 5 pm.
At 5 pm, legendary
blues busker Catfish Stephenson will take the stage to perform a mix of
delta blues, swampy serenades, Texas boogies, roadhouse rave-ups, and
lonesome cowboy laments, with the odd Parrothead lullaby.
At 6 pm,
Mulehog will take the stage to play some country music.
The Low Czars
take the stage at 7 pm, and will play a slew of oddball covers designed
